It used to be and when I look around in the hair salons, I still can see that women in a certain age get these typical frizzy hairstyles.
In my article "Certain Hair Styles Do Make You Look Younger" I wrote that shorter hair will make you look younger. But there is actually more to it.
The real reason for looking young isn't a short hair style alone, it is about feeling young and being in the middle of living each moment and doing what we love to do.
But we also can do a lot with our hair to look young. If you have beautiful eyes get a hair style with face-framing layers and a side bang. This will have your eyes stand out.
A layered hair style also gives your hair lots of movement. I have a shorter hair style with layers and that bang that makes me look the way I feel, fun-loving and young to the core of my soul! And so was my mom. In the above picture my mom was 90 years old. Faithfully supporting me by putting on my Juvele Anti-Aging Cream morning and night. At the age of 94 she went on to be with her husband, parents and siblings. I miss and love her so much!
I have some natural curls that make my hair fluffy and youthful (I believe😊 and what we feel and believe makes a big difference in how we look). That said, it is a good idea to get some light curls into your hair. It will make you look youthful!
Just because the number of our age has gone up a bit in our lives, doesn't mean we can't look youthful and sexy.
There is a song that says we are just born earlier. So true! Inside we are full of life.
A good friend of mine once said: “Age is a matter of your mind – if you don’t mind it doesn’t matter.” That has become my my motto, my way of life.
A playful hair style as described above can make you look attractive and young and that's how we really want to look. Isn't it?
I have to admit, that I like to think of myself as being youthful and looking ageless. That's just the way I want to feel.
If you would like to have longer hair, then have it layered. Have your long hair layered around your face will widen and open it up. That again will make it look fresh and elevating.
There is another aspect about layering your hair, be it short or long. A layered hair style fashions softness and distracts from fine lines and wrinkles. That will make you feel youthful and attractive. Of course Juvele Anti-Aging cream will help amazingly with the fine lines and wrinkles.
If you have expression lines on your forehead you can cover it with layered bangs. If you have discovered Crows feet, hide those lines with face-framing layers and a side fringe.
Now that we have covered the most important aspects of a youthful hair style, let's focus on healthy hair for a moment. There is no doubt that healthy hair is a sign of youth.
As we get older our hair tends to become drier and more brittle and it will not be as shiny. That's because our hair is losing more and more of its natural oils.
To get the shine back and have healthy looking hair again, we need to cleanse it less and give it more conditioning.
Don't use too much of shampoo because it will take away your natural protection and don't leave it on longer than necessary. Rinse it thoroughly and use a quality conditioner to condition your hair plenty. Leave it on for a couple of minutes before you rinse your hair. You will be surprised how shiny and youthful your hair will look.
To sum it up:
A soft and airy hair style will make your hair look light and it also will open up and lift your face and make you youthful looking.
A layered hair style will give it movement and show that you still can be fun-loving and playful. Also, don't be afraid to look sexy. Fluffy, layered hair will give you that sexy look!
And least but not last; condition your hair plenty and cleanse it with your favorite shampoo by not shampooing it longer than necessary to make it shiny and youthful looking.
By doing the above, we can show our youthful spirit and keep everybody guessing about our age!
