Chew Before You Swallow


Who would have thought that eating slower can have an effect in obtaining a healthier body composition and lifestyle.


Actually, by eating slower and really chew before you swallow lets you enjoy your meal and that makes you consume fewer calories.


That again will make you weigh less than those people that eat fast. Those who eat fast take larger bites and chew less before they swallow.


By eating slower the brain registers enjoyment and fullness and because of that you will not eat as much as you would when eating faster.


Eating slower means that you take your time which should be at least 20 minutes because that is the time that your brain requires to realize that you are satisfied - in other words: full!


If you eat slow and chew well you will not eat more than your body needs. Don't watch TV or work on your PC while you are eating your meal because that will make you eat more than necessary and you will gain weight.


It does make sense: If you eat faster, you eat more and you gain weight.


Take time to eat and enjoy your meal and it will do your body good and you will look great!
