These days it’s really hard to get a good nights sleep. The stress at work can interrupt our dreams which are so important because they help deal with all the stresses and anxieties we collect during the day.
It is really tough to wake up rejuvenated. It isn’t easy to relax and get rid of the tension that has built up during the day.
To help you sleep more relaxed and wake up refreshed try these 6 ways to rejuvenate yourself daily.
1. Routine is Important
A regular routine is very important as the body needs a regularity of it. To start and end your day the same way with a routine that helps you have a better sleep and therefore lets you wake up refreshed and full of energy every morning, you need to wake up at the same time in the morning and that lets you get tired at the same time at night.
When at a certain time you get tired it is so important to go to bed and have a good night’s rest.
Being constant is the key to waking up full of energy as studies have shown. Because of waking up at the same time every morning it stabilizes your 24-hour rhythm which makes you tired at the same time every night and that again will increase your productivity during the whole day.
A rested night's sleep is what makes you wake up rejuvenated each morning.
It really deserves to be called ‘Beauty Sleep’.
This shows that a strict sleep schedule is very important for your wellbeing. Once you started this habit stick to it!
2. Breakfast should be your most Substantial Meal of the Day
To digest your meal your blood goes right into your stomach to help digest it. If you eat this heavy meal at night it takes much longer to digest and it will energize your body which will keep you awake.
Use your energy resourcefully by making your breakfast the biggest meal so your body can relax in the evening as it should.
During the day your meals should be more like healthy snacks and for dinner just stay with one reasonable helping.
The hour before bedtime should be without food so you can relax accordingly.
3. Herbal Teas During the Day
Herbal teas are excellent to naturally increase your energy levels. Herbal teas have also rejuvenating properties and are known to boost your energy.
Rosehip tea is well known as one of the teas full of rejuvenating anti-aging licorice and vitamin C and Ginger tea is the elevating one!
4. Take Daily Walks
This is my favorite subject including drinking enough water.
What is enough water? Research has shown that 8 glasses of 8 oz of water will do for the day.
Drink water during the day and take a brisk walk every morning or after dinner.
If you are in a sitting position most of the day, it is the best to get up every hour and move around for at least 5 minutes. That will get your bloodstream going again and you can continue what you are doing by being energized.
A little walk before bedtime will put you in a relaxed state that’s wonderful for a good night’s sleep.
5. Energize with a Morning Shower
A shower in the morning is the most energizing thing you can do right after getting out of bed.
Using a shower gel with tropical scents like mango or energizing citrus scents will wake up your senses to a creative stage and elevate your mood to a great productive day!
6. Socialize during the day
During your working day, be it in an office or at home take breaks and call up a friend or chat with a neighbor.
You need to get your mind off work once in a while to rejuvenate and refresh your mind.
